I have been using this vinyl on a daily basis for at least 2 to 3 months now and I highly recommend it. When I first purchased the vinyl, it felt rather thick compared to my all time favourite vinyl (siser) but don’t let the thickness fool you. Once pressed, it feels just as good as the best brands out there. It doesn’t feel any heavier either. This is now my “go to” vinyl.
Layering: unfortunately I don’t recommend this vinyl for Layering. This could be due to my inexperience, as I’ve only been making vinyl images for shirts for about 2 and a half years. I have tried a few different ways to see if it changes the outcome, but unfortunately I can’t make it work.
I have tried hot peel, cold peel, warm peel and even “the next day peel” !!! But no matter which way I peel it, I always get air bubbles and uneven textures. Unlike using siser, I can layer 6 different colours with no air bubbles and no uneven textures.
Again, this could be due to my inexperience, so keep that in mind.
The only other issue for me with this product is weeding super small intricate designs, I find that those tiny pieces that I need for the image lift very easily which means using the tweezers a lot to place the little tiny pieces back in place. If you don’t do super small intricate designs, then this product is by far one that you must try.
I love that when I’m doing a standard sized design, it weed’s beautifully without any problems at all. This product definitely competes with the top sellers and might I mention at a fraction of the price.
I am absolutely stoked with its overall performance and I have continued to reach for this vinyl first when doing standard sized designs.
